UNITY...we're in this TOGETHER!

The Summer season is coming up...and we as God's Children are going to be the main ones the devil tries to mess with because we have a God given destiny that he cant stand.

So as we move in to this new season, be mindful of your "summer fun" lol remember that we are to be examples of God's love...We CAN have fun without drinkin, partyin all crazy, listenin to garbage lol....theres fun in fellowship..and strength in numbers! Don't go witnessing in a place where you cant resist the very thing you're witnessing against! lol Go in to a bar with no intention to have any drinks and then leave with a "lil buzz, oh its just two drinks...not including the free shots but those dont count!" Ya'll get what Im saying!?

And I am talking to myself AGAIN! I tend to put myself in situations that I "thought" I could handle....but I am learning to be realistic and I am beginning to see the difference between my strength and God's strength. The "strong enough" I thought I was, was not God given...which is why I failed. God given strength would tell me not to even go to that bar/club/lounge.

If we stay together and surround ourselves with other people moving towards the same goal, you will find yourself stronger and happier. You know that feeling you have after a night of hangin out and just laughin till you cried? God wants us to enjoy each other. We need to get back to enjoying the simple things in life, like each others company...Lets chill this summer y'all.... :)

So I guess what I'm saying is that I am promoting a spirit of UNITY!

Lets delight ourselves in the Lord and in that we will delight ourselves in each other and those around us! Love on somebody today! And if you need love, come down to Restoration Station, 704 Sunset Road, Burlington, NJ...TODAY AT 3PM!!! Its Where CHANGE HAPPENS!

Love Yall!

We Worship You!

God is a self sustaining God...He doesn't NEED our worship....our worship is credited to our account so that when troubles come or we are in need of something we can "afford" what we are asking! We must worship God in all...ALL that we do! Good and Bad times! But the objective of our worship must be what we give to God and not what we get out of it.

When we worship, we enter in to a place that was once inaccessible to sinners like us! But Glory to God for His love that that separation was torn down and we now have unlimited access! I will speak for myself in that I know I have this access but i don't utilize it, if you will, as much as I could....

Even when I know that there is fullness of Joy in the presence of the Lord, we enter in to His holy rest when we enter in to the presence of the Lord, there is a REFRESHING in the presence of the Lord!

I believe that right now we are in such a state that a refreshing is needed...how many of you made a decision to follow God like never before back in January/ February? How many of you are tired, beat down, discouraged, empty, and have a "Jesus who? Church what?" attitude today? That is because the devil knows how to get you! and when we are not as strong in Christ, in His word, in fellowship...we get weak! Our spirit man loses weight to the point where he is on bed rest!

WE NEEED TO REVIVE OUR SPIRIT MEN! Get him healthy and strong so that he can defend us against the darts of the enemy...the bible says "man doesn't live on bread alone..." That is because it is not just enough to feed out physical bodies but our spiritual bodies as well...with the word of God!

So...i say all of that to say, We NEED our worship! We need our worship so that we may get in to the presence of God ans be refreshed by His rest and his love!

Post your favorite Worship Songs on the page today....and take a chance...worship Him a little more today than you did yesterday, don't half step it either...real worship We can worship God anywhere and by any number of means. For example you might worship God in church, in your car, at your job, in the park, wherever! You might worship in song, with poetry, in prayer or while serving...give one percent more today...and see if He doesn't bless you...

Praise Him Still!

Let me just say that when the devil thinks hes got you cornered...and you want to give in...sometimes you DO give in....but GOD.....is still God....Yesterday Pastor Jason Miller from Greater Life in Trenton talked about Job and how God told the devil what he could and COULD NOT do to Job....Pastor Miller said that we tend to forget that if youre in trouble and God has YOU....That means He has your troubles TOO!!!

You may feel like a failure sometimes, (i am so preaching to myself right now y'all) but God is not going to give up on you....as long as you stay hungry for Him and diligently and WHOLEHEARTEDLY seek Him...He will NOT turn away from you....its not just enough to sin and repent, sin and repent....you need to repent...and TURN AWAY FROM your wicked ways...

I know that I can reach out for prayer to you guys and some of you WILL pray for me...pray for my faith to grow at a rate like never before..pray for my ability to WHOLEHEARTEDLY trust God...pray that I can FULLY believe what I know is the truth....because right now i feel like the devil has me cornered and I dont feel like my faith is big enough for me to stand on and see over him......I know God has me...and I wont stop pressing towards the mark, but its getting harder yall....Pray my strength....

BUT.....I AM STILL PRAISING HIM FOR ALL THAT HE HAS DONE THUS FAR!!!...The devil cant stand praise yall...i know this isnt "thunder roll thursday" but I AM SICK OF THE DEVIL RIGHT ABOUT NOW!!!

The fact that I am on the winning side, and the captain of my team still believes I have what it takes to be in the game...MAKES ME WANA PRAISE HIMMMMMMM!!!

Love Yall...be encouraged.....and remember even leaders have imperfections...Pray for your leaders yall...another Great word from Pastor Miller....

Still Pressin!

Has there ever been a time where you just felt disconnected from God? Like old feelings and thoughts are creeping back in to your life? That's how I have been feeling lately, so I've been keeping to myself. I know now that keeping to yourself juts allows for satan to move in and manipulate your every thought. (He will every chance he gets y'all...Mark 4:15 "Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it [immediately], Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them.") when you're in church, think about it, sometimes you can focus on everything else...but the word...Satan is strategic y'all...Some of us, including me, need to fatten up our spirit, get saturated so that the enemy cant just come and take our seeds away...

I have been fighting this temptation that has seemed to rear its ugly head like never before. All of a sudden I'm feeling lonely again, all of a sudden i have the urge to listen to Rhianna and all that other music i used to listen to, and have one or two drinks...all of a sudden i have the urge to call that person...Ive asked God many times lately...why is this happening?! what am i doing wrong!? why are things falling apart? how can I just lose my fire?!

I went to a bible study at St. Matthews in Williamstown last night and the title was "got faith?"...it made me realize that my faith had either lost some weight or was never that big to begin with. And that hurts to examine yourself and see what you really lack, or see a glimpse of the you that God sees...

He started out by saying (and this is not verbatim, my notes are a little crazy) -once you are defeated in your faith, you are no good to God
-we are kept by the power of God
-its is about staying connected
-sometimes we allow our baggage to stop us from being excited about the vision or Gods plan
-our fear has the tendency to shape our perception

This was all in the first 10 minutes i was there....wow God!

I also learned, and some of you know this I'm sure, but I'm being transparent..i didn't know this: that your body represents your world conscious, your soul represents your self conscious, and your spirit represents your God conscious. SPIRIT and SOUL are not the same! That's why when David shouts "Bless the Lord O my SOUL! He is commanding his soul to align with the praises of his spirit. Our soul doesn't automatically want to praise God...our spirit might, if you have relationship with Christ and believe He died on for your sins...I learned that your soul is made up of all your feelings and emotions...SOUL-->"i love you with all my heart..." yeah? well our hearts are wickedly deceitful!

Our SPIRIT is what allows us to be connected to God...and if you don't feed your spirit through:

--- READING Gods Word: Hebrews 5:13-14 "Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil."

---PRACTICING Gods Word: Heb 4:12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. " that means daily examining yourself and how you can show forth His word living in you...

---and SHARING God's Word: Heb 10:24-25 "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

We allow ourselves to grow weak y'all...and i know this was a long post but..sometimes we have to encourage ourselves because people can and will fail you....but God wont...and if you enter in to His rest Heb 4:1-2, 4:6 "Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it. For we also have had the gospel preached to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because those who heard did not combine it with faith...."6 it still remains that some will enter that rest, and those who formerly had the gospel preached to them did not go in, because of their disobedience."

wow...and verse 10 says "for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his." As i read that i took from it that we rest from all of our work...good and bad..by bad i mean the way we work against our blessings by doing our own thing instead of being obedient, we will have rest from our own thoughts and ways which are not like His, Thank You Jesus, we will have rest from being distracted, we will have rest from trying to fight our own battles...we get to enter in to His rest...

so family "Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience." and that's His word. Be encouraged y'all...♥

How Bad Do You Want It!!!???

The devil is hard at work yall....He wants us to feel overwhelmed and tired....He wants us to ponder on Giving up....

But just think about it...where would we be if Jesus just gave up....If He didn't love us to say "ok Father..I will go and die for THEM"

We all want to share in God's blessings, and abundances, and riches...but we dont want to share His suffering and His death! And in order to show forth the Lord's death until He comes that means carrying your cross!! In private and PUBLIC!

In the midst of your struggles are you still giving Him glory? Are yo still praying? Are you still asking? seeking? knocking?

Matthew 7:7-11 says "7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! "

HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT!?

Keep asking for that job....keep asking for that house...keep asking for that car...keep asking for your husband or wife...keep asking for that loved one to come to Christ...keep asking to be on fire for Christ...keep asking for bigger faith...keep asking for the ability to forgive...keep asking to be released from your past......KEEP ASKING! STAY IN HIS FACE UNTIL HE GIVES IT TO YOU!!

PARTICIPATE IN YOUR BLESSING!

Here's my testimony:

The devil knows my weakness...he knows that in the past all i've wanted was a "boo"....he knows that i dont like being alone/ lonely...he knows that i love being around people...last week...two people that I have had relationship with in the past, who i havent seen/ hung out with in months...popped up....everyone is dealing with temptation....but for some reason it hits me extra hard...and both times i was TEMPTED!! To the point that I even felt guilty just being there....

I was stronger these times than I have ever been but it was still a fight....I thank God that He is covering and protecting me and that He lets me know when im wrong...that gut feeling? That's God.....we put ourselves in those situations...and if you are saturated with the spirit then you may be good...but many of us are not as strong as we think and end up asking "how did I get here"....That was the question of the week.

I will not give up! I am getting used to and becoming okay with, being by myself...I know i don't NEED a man....and that when it is time for me to have someone then i will...I am praying for patience and guidance....I am praying that I will not continue to hinder my journey towards what God has for me...

Taste and See that the Lord is Good! He kept me last week, you guys dont need details to know that things can get crazy in any given situation....I praise God that He has care and love for me!!

Be blessed and ENCOURAGED SALT!!!! I know that was a long one lol...be blessed by it anyway!

Love yall ♥

Greaaaaat issssss Thyyyyy FAITHFULNESS!!

Good morning church, I wont be before you long I'd just like to touch on how faithful...God is! Its amazing how excited I am about God because I wasn't always. I first got saved when I was like 13 or 14. And yest I was raised in the church but not raised IN the church. My parents are believers and we went to church a lot but we weren't involved really as much as we could have been. So I was one of those kids who knew Jesus but because I didn't build a relationship after being introduced, I drifted away over the course of my life.

In high school i was so focused on school work and track that I didn't make time for God. I only prayed when there was something wrong, and even then it wasn't a guarantee that I would talk to Him at all. I was at that place where I wasn't really even sure that He was listening when I prayed because I didn't feel worthy to even talk to God after how I've been treating Him.

I went to Rutgers in 2006. For someone who never really had the same freedom as most kids in high school, I went crazy my freshman year! What!? I could be out all hours of the night, I could party, I didn't have to study if I didn't feel like it, and I could even have a drink (shhhhh!). Through ALL of this....God has been faithful.

I could have died my freshman year, from one thing or another. College is safe yet just as dangerous all the the same time. I could have gotten .2 lower of a grade point average and gone on academic probation. (being a student athlete you had to have at LEAST a 2.0 to compete...my first semester was a 2.1) But He was faithful.

My grades got better with each semester. I partied less and less each semester. I started going to church more (without my parents in my ear). I joined the gospel choir on campus and that brought in the support of fellowship. God has been faithful in that He began to let me see Him on my own, with my own heart. The seed was planted by my parents when I was young but I found my way back to the Rock!

I graduated (Praise Him!) and then I went home. There goes my Christian support system. Not that my parents are not supportive. But being able to go and just hang out with Christian friends whenever, at anytime, made a huge difference in my life, me being the social butterfly that I am. I usually got myself in to trouble by hanging out with just any'ol body. There's a difference when you hang out with people with at least WANT to know Jesus more.

I say all of this to say, Jesus really IS Faithful. He has kept me because He wants to use me. Why do you think I'm still here? No matter what you are going through just remember that God is Faithful! He will not let you fall by the sword of the enemy! Just as long as you Trust Him. I didn't always trust God. But seeing the things He has done in my life even before I re-dedicated myself, excites me because now that I truly believe I know He is going to bless me big! Thank you Father for keeping me safe all these years! Use me as you see fit and accept my praise as a token of my honor and gratitude! Hallelujah!

C-C-C-C-Committment...whew! No wonder people are afraid of that word....THAT ENDS NOW! JUST DO IT!

You ever get that feeling in church when you feel like God is coming directly at you? Like when Pastor says "somebody in here needs to stop half stepping and fully commit..." Well that was the way today’s sermon went.

I will be the first to admit that I have not been fully committed to God. Just when you feel like you are doing enough that is when you need to press down and do more.

Things happen in your life that could have only been made possible by a gracious God. When you take a step, God will take a step all because He is committed to us. To be committed is making a conscious decision to be bound emotionally, spiritually, physically to whatever it is you are committed. Jesus is committed to being our Savior. God was so committed to saving our souls that He gave His only son. Jesus was so committed to loving us that He died on the cross. Yes He is our matchless King, but why not strive to match that kind of commitment? That kind of love? Just imagine, you are blessed as it is and you aren't fully committed. How blessed will you be once you fully surrender your earthly garments to the King of Kings? You're His anyway right? Give yourself back to your Father. We have taken ourselves away from the One to whom all glory is due.

I don’t know about you but I want God to use me. Use me up God! I know that whatever He takes from me He will replenish if and when it needs to be. Now I am no expert on living in faith but I promise you from what I have witnessed just in the last three days, it is not a bad place to be lol. God will bless you if you let Him. All He asks is that you commit to Him.

Well what makes a committed person? 1. Committed people have faith-they commit first and then make a way to make it work. 2. Committed people are driven by passion-Passion: a strong or extravagant fondness, enthusiasm, or desire...are you truly fond of God? Are you enthusiastic about God? Do you truly and honestly desire God?? (I am ministering to myself right now, yall don’t even know) 3. Most importantly, committed people never quit! Where would we be if Jesus has quit loving us? Oh God! If we are made in His image than we most certainly should be held to the same standards right? We have a different kind of blood running through our veins. We see with different eyes and we love with a different kind of heart. All of which belong to the Father! We have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Why not lead the lives He has for us?

WE CAN DO IT!!! Love yall! Be Blessed!
