How many of you feel like you've been under attack since January 1st? Like every month its something different? That is how I've felt...I've had ups and downs like never before this year alone and its only may. One week im like "i GOT JOY JOY JOY ALLL OVER ME!" and the next week im like "yea Lord for I am a lowly sinner, join me as i condem myself..."
I feel like in my RE-FRESHING God is giving me a RE-ALITY check...
I find that there is consistency and RE-ASSURANCE in the Lord. He is a God who never changes, the same God of yesterday, today and tomorrow. While many of us need to be refreshed, most of us need to be refocused. We focus on what the world says we are, we focus on our current state, we focus on what we aren't or what we dont have...or even in some cases on the opposite end of the spectrum we worry about what God ISN'T doing through US...and that's RE-TAR--okay okay, silly, it's silly,...but i digress
God has been tryna tell me something ya'll check this out:
1. last tuesday I got homework from my mentor to do a biblical study on PRIDE (RE-THINK)
2.Then Thursday, a message on the 4 steps to submission (RE-SET)
a. humble ourselves
b. pray
c. seek His face
d. turn from your wicked ways
3. Sunday the message was that we are being "broken for change" and how the master potter will NEVER throw you away but make you in to a new vessel (RE-POURPOSE)
4.Sunday night's message was about making sure God is the forefront of all that you do..ministry is NOT ABOUT YOU but about what He does THROUGH you...its about Jesus and only Jesus. (RE-MINDER)
5. Monday night, (yes ya'll stay in His face, im trying to be there daily, it makes a difference!) We talked about defining moments. Now I wont type up all of my notes lol because there was a lot!
But here we go: In the process of change, there are these things called defining moments. Think of it as something loading on your computer, each little percentage closer to 100, is a defining moment. Some things take longer to load! Defining moments are the decisions you make whose outcome has an impact on the final product.
For example...if I am participating in a relationship that i KNOW is not of God, each decision I make will get me closer to the end goal which i know should be ending it or it will stall me and prolong the process of me walking in my destiny with the one God intended for me.
I probably should'nt even text this guy...ok I won't...+5%
Dang, he just txtd me to get on fb, I'm gonna read my word instead though...+10%
Should I go to that club with him? No, I don't belong there...+10%!
Should I go to dinner with him around 10PM...Sure, its a free meal girl!...+0%
Should we watch that movie over his house? Probably not, but i'm bored...+0.00%
He's a nice guy, a little pushy, but maybe I am supposed to witness to him so he can find Christ...okay I'll go back to his place after this movie...error..error..error (RE-BOOT!)
Y'all get where this is going? God wants us to install HIS program...but If you don't have the proper firewalls in place YOUR SYSTEM WILL CRASH! G.O.D. (God Ordained Destiny 10.0) LOL will not share disk space with a V.I.R.U.S. (violently influential risk unintended to serve)!....lol There are firewalls in fellowship, there are firewalls in the Word of God, there are firewalls in Worship, there are firewalls in Prayer....PROTECT YO'SELF FOOL!
If you know you need to change somethings, or RE-EXAMINE somethings, like or comment on this post and TEXT-IFY! Lets be transparent and share with each other, because there may be a blessing for someone else in your breakthrough...
We are here for one reason only and that is to love God and love others with that same love so that they too may develop a hunger and a thirst for the King. If this is not the main goal of your life, of your ministry...you need to RE-FOCUS....It's not about you.

UNITY...we're in this TOGETHER!
The Summer season is coming up...and we as God's Children are going to be the main ones the devil tries to mess with because we have a God given destiny that he cant stand.
So as we move in to this new season, be mindful of your "summer fun" lol remember that we are to be examples of God's love...We CAN have fun without drinkin, partyin all crazy, listenin to garbage lol....theres fun in fellowship..and strength in numbers! Don't go witnessing in a place where you cant resist the very thing you're witnessing against! lol Go in to a bar with no intention to have any drinks and then leave with a "lil buzz, oh its just two drinks...not including the free shots but those dont count!" Ya'll get what Im saying!?
And I am talking to myself AGAIN! I tend to put myself in situations that I "thought" I could handle....but I am learning to be realistic and I am beginning to see the difference between my strength and God's strength. The "strong enough" I thought I was, was not God given...which is why I failed. God given strength would tell me not to even go to that bar/club/lounge.
If we stay together and surround ourselves with other people moving towards the same goal, you will find yourself stronger and happier. You know that feeling you have after a night of hangin out and just laughin till you cried? God wants us to enjoy each other. We need to get back to enjoying the simple things in life, like each others company...Lets chill this summer y'all.... :)
So I guess what I'm saying is that I am promoting a spirit of UNITY!
Lets delight ourselves in the Lord and in that we will delight ourselves in each other and those around us! Love on somebody today! And if you need love, come down to Restoration Station, 704 Sunset Road, Burlington, NJ...TODAY AT 3PM!!! Its Where CHANGE HAPPENS!
Love Yall!

We Worship You!
God is a self sustaining God...He doesn't NEED our worship....our worship is credited to our account so that when troubles come or we are in need of something we can "afford" what we are asking! We must worship God in all...ALL that we do! Good and Bad times! But the objective of our worship must be what we give to God and not what we get out of it.
When we worship, we enter in to a place that was once inaccessible to sinners like us! But Glory to God for His love that that separation was torn down and we now have unlimited access! I will speak for myself in that I know I have this access but i don't utilize it, if you will, as much as I could....
Even when I know that there is fullness of Joy in the presence of the Lord, we enter in to His holy rest when we enter in to the presence of the Lord, there is a REFRESHING in the presence of the Lord!
I believe that right now we are in such a state that a refreshing is needed...how many of you made a decision to follow God like never before back in January/ February? How many of you are tired, beat down, discouraged, empty, and have a "Jesus who? Church what?" attitude today? That is because the devil knows how to get you! and when we are not as strong in Christ, in His word, in fellowship...we get weak! Our spirit man loses weight to the point where he is on bed rest!
WE NEEED TO REVIVE OUR SPIRIT MEN! Get him healthy and strong so that he can defend us against the darts of the enemy...the bible says "man doesn't live on bread alone..." That is because it is not just enough to feed out physical bodies but our spiritual bodies as well...with the word of God!
So...i say all of that to say, We NEED our worship! We need our worship so that we may get in to the presence of God ans be refreshed by His rest and his love!
Post your favorite Worship Songs on the page today....and take a chance...worship Him a little more today than you did yesterday, don't half step it either...real worship We can worship God anywhere and by any number of means. For example you might worship God in church, in your car, at your job, in the park, wherever! You might worship in song, with poetry, in prayer or while serving...give one percent more today...and see if He doesn't bless you...

Praise Him Still!
Let me just say that when the devil thinks hes got you cornered...and you want to give in...sometimes you DO give in....but GOD.....is still God....Yesterday Pastor Jason Miller from Greater Life in Trenton talked about Job and how God told the devil what he could and COULD NOT do to Job....Pastor Miller said that we tend to forget that if youre in trouble and God has YOU....That means He has your troubles TOO!!!
You may feel like a failure sometimes, (i am so preaching to myself right now y'all) but God is not going to give up on you....as long as you stay hungry for Him and diligently and WHOLEHEARTEDLY seek Him...He will NOT turn away from you....its not just enough to sin and repent, sin and repent....you need to repent...and TURN AWAY FROM your wicked ways...
I know that I can reach out for prayer to you guys and some of you WILL pray for me...pray for my faith to grow at a rate like never before..pray for my ability to WHOLEHEARTEDLY trust God...pray that I can FULLY believe what I know is the truth....because right now i feel like the devil has me cornered and I dont feel like my faith is big enough for me to stand on and see over him......I know God has me...and I wont stop pressing towards the mark, but its getting harder yall....Pray my strength....
BUT.....I AM STILL PRAISING HIM FOR ALL THAT HE HAS DONE THUS FAR!!!...The devil cant stand praise yall...i know this isnt "thunder roll thursday" but I AM SICK OF THE DEVIL RIGHT ABOUT NOW!!!
The fact that I am on the winning side, and the captain of my team still believes I have what it takes to be in the game...MAKES ME WANA PRAISE HIMMMMMMM!!!
Love Yall...be encouraged.....and remember even leaders have imperfections...Pray for your leaders yall...another Great word from Pastor Miller....

Still Pressin!
Has there ever been a time where you just felt disconnected from God? Like old feelings and thoughts are creeping back in to your life? That's how I have been feeling lately, so I've been keeping to myself. I know now that keeping to yourself juts allows for satan to move in and manipulate your every thought. (He will every chance he gets y'all...Mark 4:15 "Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it [immediately], Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them.") when you're in church, think about it, sometimes you can focus on everything else...but the word...Satan is strategic y'all...Some of us, including me, need to fatten up our spirit, get saturated so that the enemy cant just come and take our seeds away...
I have been fighting this temptation that has seemed to rear its ugly head like never before. All of a sudden I'm feeling lonely again, all of a sudden i have the urge to listen to Rhianna and all that other music i used to listen to, and have one or two drinks...all of a sudden i have the urge to call that person...Ive asked God many times lately...why is this happening?! what am i doing wrong!? why are things falling apart? how can I just lose my fire?!
I went to a bible study at St. Matthews in Williamstown last night and the title was "got faith?"...it made me realize that my faith had either lost some weight or was never that big to begin with. And that hurts to examine yourself and see what you really lack, or see a glimpse of the you that God sees...
He started out by saying (and this is not verbatim, my notes are a little crazy) -once you are defeated in your faith, you are no good to God
-we are kept by the power of God
-its is about staying connected
-sometimes we allow our baggage to stop us from being excited about the vision or Gods plan
-our fear has the tendency to shape our perception
This was all in the first 10 minutes i was there....wow God!
I also learned, and some of you know this I'm sure, but I'm being transparent..i didn't know this: that your body represents your world conscious, your soul represents your self conscious, and your spirit represents your God conscious. SPIRIT and SOUL are not the same! That's why when David shouts "Bless the Lord O my SOUL! He is commanding his soul to align with the praises of his spirit. Our soul doesn't automatically want to praise God...our spirit might, if you have relationship with Christ and believe He died on for your sins...I learned that your soul is made up of all your feelings and emotions...SOUL-->"i love you with all my heart..." yeah? well our hearts are wickedly deceitful!
Our SPIRIT is what allows us to be connected to God...and if you don't feed your spirit through:
--- READING Gods Word: Hebrews 5:13-14 "Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil."
---PRACTICING Gods Word: Heb 4:12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. " that means daily examining yourself and how you can show forth His word living in you...
---and SHARING God's Word: Heb 10:24-25 "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
We allow ourselves to grow weak y'all...and i know this was a long post but..sometimes we have to encourage ourselves because people can and will fail you....but God wont...and if you enter in to His rest Heb 4:1-2, 4:6 "Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it. For we also have had the gospel preached to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because those who heard did not combine it with faith...."6 it still remains that some will enter that rest, and those who formerly had the gospel preached to them did not go in, because of their disobedience."
wow...and verse 10 says "for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his." As i read that i took from it that we rest from all of our work...good and bad..by bad i mean the way we work against our blessings by doing our own thing instead of being obedient, we will have rest from our own thoughts and ways which are not like His, Thank You Jesus, we will have rest from being distracted, we will have rest from trying to fight our own battles...we get to enter in to His rest...
so family "Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience." and that's His word. Be encouraged y'all...♥

How Bad Do You Want It!!!???
The devil is hard at work yall....He wants us to feel overwhelmed and tired....He wants us to ponder on Giving up....
But just think about it...where would we be if Jesus just gave up....If He didn't love us to say "ok Father..I will go and die for THEM"
We all want to share in God's blessings, and abundances, and riches...but we dont want to share His suffering and His death! And in order to show forth the Lord's death until He comes that means carrying your cross!! In private and PUBLIC!
In the midst of your struggles are you still giving Him glory? Are yo still praying? Are you still asking? seeking? knocking?
Matthew 7:7-11 says "7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! "
HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT!?
Keep asking for that job....keep asking for that house...keep asking for that car...keep asking for your husband or wife...keep asking for that loved one to come to Christ...keep asking to be on fire for Christ...keep asking for bigger faith...keep asking for the ability to forgive...keep asking to be released from your past......KEEP ASKING! STAY IN HIS FACE UNTIL HE GIVES IT TO YOU!!
PARTICIPATE IN YOUR BLESSING!
Here's my testimony:
The devil knows my weakness...he knows that in the past all i've wanted was a "boo"....he knows that i dont like being alone/ lonely...he knows that i love being around people...last week...two people that I have had relationship with in the past, who i havent seen/ hung out with in months...popped up....everyone is dealing with temptation....but for some reason it hits me extra hard...and both times i was TEMPTED!! To the point that I even felt guilty just being there....
I was stronger these times than I have ever been but it was still a fight....I thank God that He is covering and protecting me and that He lets me know when im wrong...that gut feeling? That's God.....we put ourselves in those situations...and if you are saturated with the spirit then you may be good...but many of us are not as strong as we think and end up asking "how did I get here"....That was the question of the week.
I will not give up! I am getting used to and becoming okay with, being by myself...I know i don't NEED a man....and that when it is time for me to have someone then i will...I am praying for patience and guidance....I am praying that I will not continue to hinder my journey towards what God has for me...
Taste and See that the Lord is Good! He kept me last week, you guys dont need details to know that things can get crazy in any given situation....I praise God that He has care and love for me!!
Be blessed and ENCOURAGED SALT!!!! I know that was a long one lol...be blessed by it anyway!
Love yall ♥
But just think about it...where would we be if Jesus just gave up....If He didn't love us to say "ok Father..I will go and die for THEM"
We all want to share in God's blessings, and abundances, and riches...but we dont want to share His suffering and His death! And in order to show forth the Lord's death until He comes that means carrying your cross!! In private and PUBLIC!

Greaaaaat issssss Thyyyyy FAITHFULNESS!!
Good morning church, I wont be before you long I'd just like to touch on how faithful...God is! Its amazing how excited I am about God because I wasn't always. I first got saved when I was like 13 or 14. And yest I was raised in the church but not raised IN the church. My parents are believers and we went to church a lot but we weren't involved really as much as we could have been. So I was one of those kids who knew Jesus but because I didn't build a relationship after being introduced, I drifted away over the course of my life.
In high school i was so focused on school work and track that I didn't make time for God. I only prayed when there was something wrong, and even then it wasn't a guarantee that I would talk to Him at all. I was at that place where I wasn't really even sure that He was listening when I prayed because I didn't feel worthy to even talk to God after how I've been treating Him.
I went to Rutgers in 2006. For someone who never really had the same freedom as most kids in high school, I went crazy my freshman year! What!? I could be out all hours of the night, I could party, I didn't have to study if I didn't feel like it, and I could even have a drink (shhhhh!). Through ALL of this....God has been faithful.
I could have died my freshman year, from one thing or another. College is safe yet just as dangerous all the the same time. I could have gotten .2 lower of a grade point average and gone on academic probation. (being a student athlete you had to have at LEAST a 2.0 to compete...my first semester was a 2.1) But He was faithful.
My grades got better with each semester. I partied less and less each semester. I started going to church more (without my parents in my ear). I joined the gospel choir on campus and that brought in the support of fellowship. God has been faithful in that He began to let me see Him on my own, with my own heart. The seed was planted by my parents when I was young but I found my way back to the Rock!
I graduated (Praise Him!) and then I went home. There goes my Christian support system. Not that my parents are not supportive. But being able to go and just hang out with Christian friends whenever, at anytime, made a huge difference in my life, me being the social butterfly that I am. I usually got myself in to trouble by hanging out with just any'ol body. There's a difference when you hang out with people with at least WANT to know Jesus more.
I say all of this to say, Jesus really IS Faithful. He has kept me because He wants to use me. Why do you think I'm still here? No matter what you are going through just remember that God is Faithful! He will not let you fall by the sword of the enemy! Just as long as you Trust Him. I didn't always trust God. But seeing the things He has done in my life even before I re-dedicated myself, excites me because now that I truly believe I know He is going to bless me big! Thank you Father for keeping me safe all these years! Use me as you see fit and accept my praise as a token of my honor and gratitude! Hallelujah!

C-C-C-C-Committment...whew! No wonder people are afraid of that word....THAT ENDS NOW! JUST DO IT!
You ever get that feeling in church when you feel like God is coming directly at you? Like when Pastor says "somebody in here needs to stop half stepping and fully commit..." Well that was the way today’s sermon went.
I will be the first to admit that I have not been fully committed to God. Just when you feel like you are doing enough that is when you need to press down and do more.
Things happen in your life that could have only been made possible by a gracious God. When you take a step, God will take a step all because He is committed to us. To be committed is making a conscious decision to be bound emotionally, spiritually, physically to whatever it is you are committed. Jesus is committed to being our Savior. God was so committed to saving our souls that He gave His only son. Jesus was so committed to loving us that He died on the cross. Yes He is our matchless King, but why not strive to match that kind of commitment? That kind of love? Just imagine, you are blessed as it is and you aren't fully committed. How blessed will you be once you fully surrender your earthly garments to the King of Kings? You're His anyway right? Give yourself back to your Father. We have taken ourselves away from the One to whom all glory is due.
I don’t know about you but I want God to use me. Use me up God! I know that whatever He takes from me He will replenish if and when it needs to be. Now I am no expert on living in faith but I promise you from what I have witnessed just in the last three days, it is not a bad place to be lol. God will bless you if you let Him. All He asks is that you commit to Him.
Well what makes a committed person? 1. Committed people have faith-they commit first and then make a way to make it work. 2. Committed people are driven by passion-Passion: a strong or extravagant fondness, enthusiasm, or desire...are you truly fond of God? Are you enthusiastic about God? Do you truly and honestly desire God?? (I am ministering to myself right now, yall don’t even know) 3. Most importantly, committed people never quit! Where would we be if Jesus has quit loving us? Oh God! If we are made in His image than we most certainly should be held to the same standards right? We have a different kind of blood running through our veins. We see with different eyes and we love with a different kind of heart. All of which belong to the Father! We have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Why not lead the lives He has for us?
WE CAN DO IT!!! Love yall! Be Blessed!

Just my testimony, I had to tell somebody!!! So im tellin' everybdy lol
God has moved so huge in my life just in the last 3 days and becasue my faith grows everyday I know that He has just begun. Pastor Joy said that when you start walking in faith, God will begin working in your favor. I am living proof of this!
I am about to purchase a new car in my own name (omg!) and as of friday the process took a huge turn in my favor all because I stepped out on astonishing faith that God was going to move on my behalf. I looked at two Nissan Sentras, one black one silver. the day before and while I liked them because they were new but the Nissan Sentra was not the car of my dreams. (A dark blue Voltswagen Jetta named Midnight...!) They didnt have any Jettas at this dealership that day. So we left the dealership with the idea that I would pick one of the two Sentras and that would be it. I left the dealership accepting the fact that I was going to settle.
The next day I was at work and my fatehr texted me saying that I should go with the Sentra with the least amount of mileage. I thought about it. I had talked to one of my girlfriends the day before and she had a good point. If you are getting ready to put yourself in debt for a new car, it needs to be THE car and not just anything. In the meantime I am in the middle of the interviewing process for a job that would pay me double what I was making at the time. So I responded to my father saying that I was going to trust God for this new job and I was going to hold off on choosing one of the Sentras.
Don't you know I got a call from the new job saying that they wanted to offer me the position?! That same day! God sees and knows all. Because I moved in faith and I was prepared to wait on God He blessed me. Not only did I get the job but the Dealership called with great news just when I thought my day was the greatest day ever lol. The salesmen say well what did you decide? I told him that I wanted to wait for MY car. I told him I wanted the Jetta and he say well we have a white one, and I say wellL I really want a dark blue one. Dont you know he says well we actually have a 2009 dark blue Jetta at our other location only $500 over your price range and I'm sure with your salary doubling you can deffinitely have your car. WHAT!? GLORAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY!!! GOD IS AWESOME!

Go Back...He's Waiting
We are all looking for love. It is human nature to want to be loved by someone. Lacking faith causes us to run to the arms of those who can only make us feel lived for a season. I don't know about you but I want to be loved for the rest of my life and all throughout eternity.
We have all been in a relationship, romantic or friendly, where we've felt like we've had it! We've all had times where we've felt like you know what this just isn't working for ME, I think we should go our separate ways. Or you stop talking to that friend in hopes that they can get the hint. You try to convince yourself that you are doing whats right. You tell yourself that you are just following God's will. But have you consulted God about that?? We are so worried about moving "On to the Next One" without realizing that we have access to that Love. That feeling of fulfilment when we wake up; that feeling of joy when you kneel down to pray just to say thank you. We should feel gladness when we speak to God giving Him the Praise He deserves. But while dealing with trying to force natural love we put God on the back burner. We figure "ahh, He'll always be there..." Which He will, but relationships are two way streets. Think about that. Here is how I see it, and this goes for me too.
Jesus is that Ex that YOU walked away from because you were selfish and only cared about what you wanted at that time, in the long run you regret leaving Him but have too much pride to go back...the crazyy part is He'll always be waiting for you to come back! He loves you so much that His love for you will never ware off. He will never give up and just move on. In your time of need, even though you hurt Him He will still bail you out. But we have to humble ourselves and swallow that pride that is stopping us from trusting that love. You made a mistake. You BELONG with Jesus. Truly a match made in Heaven. It is God's will for you to be with Him. Girl stop guessing, HE IS the one. Boy stop wondering if Christ is the right one, HE IS!
Get out of your own way for that blessing..Go back...tell Him your sorry and that you love Him too...Get back with Jesus...and this time he wants it all...He's waiting.
Love y'all...Be blessed...

Begin Again
Young, Blessed and Highly Favored....its amazing how much more these things apply to my now than they did when I started this blog. I haven't written in a while because well...I fell off. For those of you who aren't familiar with how Christ works, no matter how far you stray from his light, He always manages to call you back to His hands. Let me tell you all that I am back and loving it.
I am in the process of restoring my life in Christ. As a young woman in this day and age there have been many times I have mistaken the flesh for true love. I have looked to the world for answers and come back in a worse position than i was before. I have taken full credit for accomplishments that belonged solely to God. Basically I have been living in complacency. I took the blessings that God gave me and was satisfied. But something told me that I had more to offer, that this voice He gave me was not for just singing in talent shows for small cash prizes or singing along with the latest song on power 99 (commercial radio). He has such a plan for me that even now I cant fathom His greatness.
My point is that it is never too late for God to make a difference in your life. There will be many times you feel like you have reached a dead end. Like the bad is beginning to outweigh the good. Begin again. You feel like you cant let go of that one person. Begin again. You feel like you cant shake that addiction. Begin again. You feel unworthy of walking alongside God. Begin again. You feel like you cant change BEGIN AGAIN! Give yourself away to Christ! not just your mind but all of you.
He makes a difference in my life by waking me up everyday and allowing me to see the possibilities. I want to spread the gospel of Christ!---I don't think you all understand. I actually want to! Before praising God used to feel like a chore because that's what I was taught. Seek God for yourself! To actually Love Christ for Him because you want to?? Its is such a blessing. Rejoice! The journey has just begun to say the least. Lets walk together family...welcome back to young, blessed, and highly favored...Be blessed!

Untitled
I found this written as a draft from February Im just now posting it in september...look where I was
It has been quite a while since my last post and I know exactly why. When God gave me a brand new mindset back at the end of December, I was really made brand new. But school was not back in session yet. I knew deep down that with this new found faith, the devil would be trying to break me down once school was in session and everything was back to normal...And boy was i right...

I'm doing okay right now. I am proud to say that I've been in church every Sunday this year so far. That may not sound like much to some people but for me that's grrrreat! I feel like this year is going to be so spectacular and the only way that it wont be is if I stand in the way of my own blessings.
Its funny how I am always the one to encourage others in times of self doubt. I am always making sure everyone else has the best esteem and and a smile on their face, but man when its time to take your own advice?? That's when i don't know what to do... Its all in your head, they always say.

Give God Your Heart, He had it first!
In the last couple of days I've been reading Genesis. I just finished the book. In between my readings a friend of mine told me to look at Amos. On my way to Amos I stumbled across the book of Joel. And family, let me tell you as a child of God, not new to His love but new to fully recognizing His love, I definitely felt the love of our God after reading that book. In just 3 chapters He showed me such love and strength.
In this book Joel the Prophet gives an account of a terrible locust invasion. The locusts come in thousands on their land eating up everything. Joel said it was like God leading them, an army across the lands. Joel 1:11 "The Lord thunders at the head of His army; His forces tremble are beyond number, and mighty are those who obey His command. The day of the Lord is great; It is dreadful. Who can endure it?" Talk about total devastation?! There was nothing left. Here is Joel telling these people do you see what God can do!? Make sure you tell your children so they can tell their children and so on.
Joel urged the priests to prepare a national day of prayer to honor our Eternal God because he knew that It was God and only God who controlled the locusts and could restore what they had destroyed.
What got me the most was these verses Joel 1:12-13" 'even now,' declares the Lord, 'Return to me with all your heart, with fasting weeping and mourning. Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love and He relents from sending calamity.' "
This to me is saying that even in times of devastation "return to me with all your heart". No matter what happens return to Christ because he is a loving and compassionate God. Back then people used to mourn and show anguish by tearing their garments. But God wanted more than external change, He wants to see the change in your heart. WOW.
Our insides and our outsides need to be on one accord. You cant do things of the world but be of Christ on the inside. People are not going to recognize you as a child of the Most High, if you are of the world in your spirit. There is a song out now called "King in You" by Donald Lawrence and Donald said his father was a pastor and when he would act up his father would ask him "do you know who you are?" He's saying that we are children of God. If we came from him and are made in His image then we have Him within us. When your heart and your flesh conflict, your spirit gets confused because you're not 100% sure..no, convinced of who you are. You have to believe that He lives in you.
Its not going to be easy at first to get your flesh and your spirit to be one. But as i stated in the last post, you can recognize the need to do it, but that's not enough. You have to have that desire for them to be one. In your heart. When you place your heart in to the world it hurts God because He gave you that heart. He knows what you are capable of. God knows your heart! Its His, give it back. Love y'all, stay blessed!

Stop "Rock-Blockin" and Just Let God Work!
It is mind boggling how mysteriously God works in our lives. Just when you thought things were going to be the worst, they turned out the best. What other god do you know can make things happen that way? What other God do you know can rule and manifest all of His glory over thousands of years and still be King of Kings after all that time has passed?
It is amazing how in the bible any passage you read exudes more wisdom with each time you read it. He speaks life to those who wish to live. It's amazing how much you think you're living before you know Him. Its amazing how you can grow in him, and keep growing all the days of your life because there is no man who could live long enough to gain all of his wisdom.
It seems as though God presents us with chances and chances because He knows we will fail sometimes and succeed sometimes. But what He wants to see is that we are learning from our failures and being humble in our successes. He wants to see that we thank Him anyhow in our pitfalls and remember to give Him the honor and credit when we have a victory. That is why we get chances, chances to get it right. And like Pastor Anderson of Sword of the Spirit Christian Center said, because we have have the blood of Adam in our veins we can never be perfect. But we can work towards that perfection. Because we serve such an Almighty God we can have faith that we will excel through the ways of the heavens and not the world. God wants to see us strive for a perfection that we can only reach when we meet with Him.
We as children of God are meant to be victorious, but how victorious we are is all determined by how willing we are to do only what it takes to win in Christ. Often times we get in our own way, or we get in Gods way of victory. I've learned that if I'm about to do something and I feel a slight itty-bitty tugging on my heart..that means its probably not something i need to go forward with. I know that now. Before I would say well "im not always gonna feel 100% about every decision I make.." WRONG! If its in God's will there will BE NO DOUBTS! Don't follow your heart..follow GOD's heart...dont follow your gut...follow your GOD. Family, help is here..how bad do you want it? Don't "rock-block" We are Blessed!

We Gotta Push Harder...
Whats on my mind?? this...
I thought that I would be strong enough to turn down anything displeasing to God because I prayed about it before it happened…
Well its not that easy…the next step I think God is trying to show me is that im not strong enough to look the devil in his face just yet. I need to train for this fight more before I go in to battle.
For example:
…my sword is still dull…my words are my sword… what is yours? Here are some examples you may be familiar with…
…my shield has holes in it…my holes are the excuses I make for my actions…what are yours? Here are some examples you may be familiar with…
But me being the “strong minded over confident that I can do anything I put my mind to sinner” that I am... thought I had It under control…
Family,
In order for God to make you over and for you to succeed you have to give him your entire being…you cant have one holy foot in the kingdom and the other stanky leg in the club….you cant have one hand in Gods cookie jar and the other on a shot at Cookies bar….you cant have one ear listenin out for a sign from heaven and the other jamming to hot 97…you cant have one cheek in church and the other—well u get it…
My God is not a half way God so I cant be a half way child…it’s a spiritual recession and we cant afford to keep paying the Devil, the cost is too great and I want that name brand love I want that G-love…Gods love is free if you pursue it..He already paid man!
Its true…Love can be “a word that comes and goesssss…” but you are not love…God is. You need to come and stay. We need to come and stay and never go away from Him… Love ya’ll…If you like this you can comment or repost it Its all for His glory… God Bless Guys.

- What good is saying to yourself “nah I can’t do that because it’s not pleasing to God…” if you don’t whole heartedly believe it yourself?
…my shield has holes in it…my holes are the excuses I make for my actions…what are yours? Here are some examples you may be familiar with…
- oh this one more drink won’t hurt (hole!)
- oh it is kind of late..buttt we’re jus chillin…(hole!)
- you wana just watch a movie? I might fall asleep here but we’re just friends so it’s cool…(HOLE)…smh…
- I’m so tired..ill read my bible tomorrow…(1000’s of pounds)
- I’m too tired..and church is so earlyyyy…(1000’s of pounds)
- Dear Heavenly Father, I really need some money, Amen…yea girl I’m broke..i jus prayed for some money, so maybe I can go to the club with you next week….(1000’s of pounds)
- I know this is wrong but God will forgive me..right? (1000’s of tons)
- What girl!? You’re not goin to that Iota party? Just go for a little bit, stop being corny!
- Just come to the club..i got all your drinks…just come
- Aye, I need you to write a hook to this joint im workin on..it’s about big booty hoes smoking weed in the club before I smash that…basically..you can write that for me? I think imma need you to sing it too…come on its just a hook, it’s not like your doin that stuff, your just singing about it…its just a song…
